LOGICAL AFFIRMATION OF CALVINISM
1. Salvation is by grace
2. Salvation is by the confession of faith (Rom 10:10)
Therefore,
3. The confession of faith is by grace

ADDENDUM
Note the following, where we are told that our physical lives exist because of grace:
"Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered" 1 Pe 3:7.
Just then as our physical life came to be by grace (it was not something which was merely offered), so too our life that is really living, our life in Christ, came to be by grace (it was not something which was merely offered). The two manifestations of life - the one natural and the other spiritual - are by the same principle: they are both involuntary.
So the faith we have received, is not of ourselves, but of God: it is part and parcel of the grace we have received unto spiritual life.
